Milano’s Millar headed to all-star football game
Just second Eagle to be selected for prestigious game
MILANO— Milano senior Jordan Millar has been selected to play in the Texas High School Coaches Association’s 79th annual all- star football game in July.
Millar, who is just the second player in school history to be selected for the honor, will play deep snapper and receiver for the South team. Full Story
Eagles can’t overcome big inning
Milano couldn’t overcome an eight run fourth inning by Buckholts on Tuesday night, falling to the Badgers 12-2 in five innings.
The Eagles (2-7, 1-7) managed six hits on the night, led by Jordan Millar who was two for three with a double.

Milano started the second round of District 27A play with a 15-0 run rule road win over Mumford on Tuesday night.
Freshman Cashlyne Blake tossed the full game for the Lady Eagles (12-8-1, 4-1), striking out six and walkingthree.

Aggie Mom golf raises $12,000
The golf firm of Scitern, Scitern, Scitern and Locke bagged first place at the Milam County Moms Golf Tournament which raised over $12,000 in the second annual event.
After carding an 18-under-par 54, the winning team received the top prize of $500. Full Story
