Cars, quilts, arts and crafts on tap April 26
The Thorndale Area Chamber of Commerce ( TACC) is looking forward to its signature event on Saturday, April 26. The upcoming car show, quilt show and arts and crafts show in downtown Thorndale will set the day for family friendly fun for young and old alike.
The car show wi l l feature classic cars of all descriptions lining the street in downtown Thorndale. This event will get under way with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. The contact person is Allen Hejl at 512- 905-3038. Put a shine on that classic car and see if you can win a ribbon in this challenging event.
Darleen Tucker and Donna Johnston are co-chairpersons for the quilt show and they would like for you to share your family heirlooms and newly created works in the art of quilting at their Airing of the Quilts event. You may reach Darleen at 512- 898-2727 and Donna, of Quilting by Donna Lou, at 512- 898-2649. Come join the fun as we share the fine art of quilting for your viewing pleasure. Ribbons will be given in several categories and yours may be a real winner. The arts and crafts fair will be held on the downtown sidewalk areas. We look forward to having a wide selection of vendors for arts and crafts, food, and much more. See what you can find to add to your home décor or just for your pleasure of shopping.
