CHAMBER CHAT

The eggs are rolling in
Janice King
Chamber of Commerce Board Chair

We are in full swing for the upcoming city- wide Easter Egg Hunt that is being sponsored by iTigers, Project Graduation and Rockdale Resident and Rehabilitation Center. We have over 1,000 eggs and they are still rolling into the Chamber. Plus iTigers are also gathering eggs for the hunt. So bring the kids and come watch the fun. There is no charge and it is open to the public.

Just a reminder, it will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 18 at the Rockdale Resident and Rehabilitation Center (formerly known as Manor Oaks). Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be provide by the Center. There will be a cake walk, face tattoos and balloon art for the kids. Come join in the fun.

GOT AN APP FOR THAT—The information for our businesses has been sent to mychamberapp.com. It will be up and running in the next couple of days. Just a little bit about the app—it will allow visitors coming through Rockdale as well as local people to have information about our businesses at theirfingertips. Itwilllist all of our businesses. It will have a calendar of events as well.

There will be the opportunity for businesses to enhance their listing on the app. More information will be coming as to how you can enhance your listing.

Come join us as we work together to serve our businesses and our community. The Chamber is dedicated to our motto of “Partnering for a better Tomorrow.”
