Milano Masonic hosts 14th fundraiser tourney

MILANO—Milano Masonic Lodge 605 AF& AM will host its 14th annual four-man scramble golf tourney on Saturday, April 26 at Cameron Country Club with tee time at 9 a.m.

Proceeds benefit the lodge scholarship fund, worshipful master Mark Newman said.

Entry is $40 per person and prizes will be awarded to first through third-place teams. Four mulligans are available at $5 each.

Prizes will also be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin. Lunch and drinks will be provided. Hole sponsorships are still available for $150.

Lady Dogs holding volleyball fund raiser

THORNDALE—The Thorndale volleyball team is holding a fundraiser April 19 at the corner of Main and Hwy 79 beginning at 8 a.m.

They offer fajitas and Boston butt sandwiches until sold out.

Milano golf fundraiser tees off May 17

The second annual fund-raiser golf tournament is planned for Saturday, May 17 to help fund scholarships at Milano High School this spring.

It will be a four-man scramble format and will be held at the Rockdale Country Club golf course with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

Cost is $60 per player or $240 for a four person team and is limited to the first 18 teams. Two mulligans may be purchased per person for $5 each.

Prizes will be given out to the top three teams, as well as for longest drive, closest to pin and hole-in-one.

Participants will also be served breakfast and lunch. Entry deadline is May 9.
