Annual Mother’s Day homecoming Sunday

he annual Gause

Cemetery Association Mother’s Day Homecoming Program will be held at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at the Gause Baptist Church. Following the program, there will be dinner on the grounds at the picnic area between the Baptist Church and the Cemetery. Looking forward as always getting to visit with you all who come back to Gause to this activity annually.

The Gause Junior High Sports Banquet was well attended on Thursday evening. Congratulations to those who received awards. The girls and boys individuals and teams had a good season.

Gause Junior High Student Council and National Jr. Honor Society members Antonio on Friday.

Thursday, May 8 will be the Volunteer Leader Appreciation Luncheon at noon in the cafeteria. is Teacher Appreciation Week.

On May 7, the Gifted and Talented students went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science.

On May 29, Awards Day will be held and it’s an early out. Eighth grade graduation will be held that evening in the school gym, marking the end of the 2013-14 school year.

Trisha and Gary Shaw were busy the latter part of last week attending baseball games that grandson, Dillon Bankston played in with the Thorndale High School team. The games were played at Rudder High School in Bryan against Iola. They have more playoff games scheduled this weekend.

Our family members were at Baylor University watch St. Joseph Catholic School of Bryan members participate in their TAPPS Championship State Event. Kendall Lee participated in the 4x200 meter relay.
