Rockdale bands advance in Outstanding Performance Series
The Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) Region Level Outstanding Performance Series hearings took place last at Bullard High School and both the Rockdale high school and junior high and high school bands did very well, according to RISD director of bands Adrian Acevedo. Full Story

The commencement exercise for the Class of 2014 was held Friday evening on Pruett Field. The weather cooperated with us and it turned out to be a great ceremony. The highlight of the evening was the valedictory address of Alex Ferrara and the salutatory address of David Jentsch. Full Story

Few spots open for summer driver’s education classes
There area only six spots left in the driver’s education class offered this supper at Rockdale High School. The are on a first come, first serve basis, with whomever paying the amount in full, claiming the spots.
