Mike Brown is, and has been for four decades, the consummate community newspaper journalist, equally at home at a school board or city council meeting, in the high school press box, or researching local history for a feature story. Moreover, he is a native of this town and cares about the subjects and issues that he writes about. Full Story
I remember Mike walking by my office every morning, and laughing about something he saw on television or read or saw on the Internet.

Methodist church re-dedication ceremony set for August 30

The annual “Meet the Teacher” and “Meet the Eagles” events for the upcoming school year at Milano ISD have been set for Wednesday, Aug. 20.
