The Milam County 4- H Awards Banquet is held each year to honor those 4-H members who have excelled in their fields of interest throughout the year.

These young men and women work hard to achieve various levels of accomplishment at the county, district, state and national levels.

The annual Milam County 4-H Banquet will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 10, 2017, at the Gause Full Gospel Church.

We will be awarding and recognizing our 4-H sponsors and leaders as well as our 4- H members.

We invite our 4-H members, leaders, and most importantly our outstanding leaders and sponsors.

We will have light refreshments and enjoy company, so please come and join us.

NEW YEAR—The new 4-H year will start Sept. 1.

To re-enroll or join 4-H, please see our website: http://counties. agrilife.org/mc4h/4-h-enrollmentguidelines/.

This link will show you the steps to join as well as many important items for the 4-H year.

Join us for 4-H fun. Our new club leaders and club information will be posted soon. NEW TIMES— Four Play Streets are being conducted this summer.

We want to encourage all families to come and play and have fun together.

Our next two Play Streets will be on Aug. 17 and Aug. 24th and be located at the Cameron Elementary fenced yard by the pavilion where the lunch program will take place.

We will provide fun activities along with the free lunches they give to their students.

Play Streets will be three hours (10 a.m. to 1 pm). We did change the time because of the heat of the day.

Come and join us in the morning while it is cool.

We will have a bounce house, potato sack races, hula hoops, and activities with balls, bubbles, outdoor activities, healthy snacks, and many more fun activities for kids.

Come with your families to this fun, exciting, and free event and spend some time with your family.
