12 sentenced in 20th District Court

CAMERON—Twelve persons were sentenced recently in 20th District Court as follows, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey:

• Darrel Dewayne Shropshire, 44, Rockdale, 5-year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for evading arrest with motor vehicle.

• Nathan Andrew Willingham, 31, Bryan, 4-year prison term, $540 restitution to DPS lab after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for possession of controlled substance.

• Julius Isaac Watts, 32, Rogers, 3-year prison term, 18-month state jail term after pleading guilty to DWI-third or more and fraudulent use of identifying information.

• Deanthony Terrell McGrew, 30, Hearne, 2-year prison term and 12-month state jail term after pleading

“true” to a motions to revoke probations for escape and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

• Steven Daniel Warehime, 31, Temple, 6-month jail term after pleading guilty to unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

• Veronica Gail Long, 55, Cibolo, 3 years deferred adjudication probation, drug and substance abuse evaluation and treatment, fined $1,500 and $180 DPS lab restitution after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams).

• Danny Elmer Krick, 37, Lubbock, 3 years deferred adjudication probation with standard conditions of probation, theft aversion, fined $1,000, $1,157 in restitution after pleading guilty to unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

• Jesse Garza, 35, Cameron, 2-year prison term probated 3 years, standard conditions of probation, fined $1,500 after pleading guilty to evading arrest with prior conviction.

• Michael Angelo Gonzales, 26, Cameron, 10-year prison term probated two years, advanced anger management classes, fined $1,000 after pleading guilty to assault family violence with priors.

• Patrick Cuellar, 25, Temple, one-year state jail term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for theft ($1,500 to $20,000).

• Ruben Gabriel Briones, 43, Thorndale, 12-month state jail term, $4,268.06 restitution to victim after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for hindering secured creditor.

• Christopher Allen Jordan, 23, of Beeville, 18-month state jail term a $2,644 restitution after pleading guilty to burglary of building.
