The Rockdale Fair Association has done it again. The 2021 Fair & Rodeo was hugely successful and the association and volunteers deserve high praise, indeed. Even the weather cooperated with beautiful autumn temperatures and there was no rain in sight.
The carnival (left) was very popular Saturday night, as the Fair Association partnered with Moore’s Greater Shows Carnival from Lyford who have been in business for 75 years. Along with a very professional staff they offered exciting lights, games of chance and thrilling rides for all ages.
Of course the Fair is all about the Youth Livestock Auction. (Below, a sheep gets her beauty treatment.) Kids from near and far showed their animals to the delight of the crowd and also made money from their animal projects and well as ag mechanics, food and more.
