Under the direction of Bill Torrey, the Milam County District Attorney, these felony cases were resolved in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th Judicial District Court, for the period through April, 2021:

• Marvin Dewayne Blakely, 27, Rockdale, sentenced to 15 years confinement in TDCJ, after pleading guilty to a first-degree felony, possession of controlled substance 4-200 grams with intent to deliver in drug-free zone; sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, tampering with evidence; and sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original third-degree felony, assault family violence – imped breathing/circulation.

• Luis Alberto Sarinana, 34, Temple, sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a first-degree felony, burglary of habitation intend other felony.

• Christopher Raul Ruiz, 34, Taylor, sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, assault causes bodily injury family violence, with previous convictions and sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, bail jumping – fail to appear.

• Byron Keith Porter, 37, Thorndale, sentenced to four years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a second-degree felony, assault family violence – imped breathing/circulation with previous family violence conviction and sentenced to four years con finement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, bail jumping – fail to appear.

• George Lee Lane, 50, Rockdale, sentenced to four years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original third-degree felony, assault family violence – impede breathing/circulation and sentenced to four years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, unlawful possession of firearm by felon.

• Cliffton Wayne Salter, 59, Rockdale, sentenced to eight years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony possession of child pornography and sentenced to eight years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to an additional third-degree felony, possession of child pornography.

• Crispin Gonzales Jr., 29, Rockdale, sentenced to four years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, bail jumping – fail to appear and sentenced to 188 days in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original State Jail Felony, engaging in organized criminal activity.

• Raphael J. Roche, 29, New Orleans, LA, sentenced to forty-five (45) days confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, theft of firearm.

• Corey Levar Williams, 43, Rockdale, sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a second-degree felony, possession of controlled substance less than one gram – enhanced.

• Billy Joe Pittman Jr., 36, Cameron, sentenced to two years, three months and five days confinement in TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original third-degree felony, attempted Robbery; Pittman was also sentenced to one year, one month and 21 days confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original State Jail Felony, attempted tampering with evidence; and sentenced to 291 days confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, possession of controlled substance Less than 28 grams in a drug-free zone. In addition to the sentenced above, Pittman was placed on five years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, bail jumping – fail to appear.

• Richard Wayne Scott, 32, Cameron, sentenced to eight years confinement in TDCJ, probated for eight years with standard conditions of probation including the successful completion of SAFP and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, unlawful possession of firearm by felon.

• Marvin Charles Williams, 53, Cameron, sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, assault on public servant – emergency services personnel.

• Anthony Edwin Bohot, 41, Rockdale, sentenced to 12 months confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original State Jail Felony, possession of controlled substance less than one gram.

• Ke’ira Moore, 26, Rockdale, sentenced to 18 months confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original State Jail Felony, Forgery of Financial Instrument.

• Thomas Wesley Owens, 30, Bryan, sentenced to six years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original second-degree felony, Burglary of Habitation.

• Delores Juanita Collins, 40, Rockdale, sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a first-degree felony, possession of controlled substance 4-200 grams with intent to deliver and sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original third-degree felony, possession of controlled substance 1-4 grams.

• Gus Blane II, 32, Taylor, sentenced to four years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, retaliation.

• Jose Alfredo Cardona, 30, Cameron, sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ, probated for five years with standard conditions of felony DWI probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to DPS after pleading guilty to third-degree felony, DWI 3rd or more.

• Sherman Lee Sanchez, 39, Rockdale, sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a second-degree felony, lesser included possession of controlled substance 4-200 grams.

• Kenneth Dale Wehunt, 43, Cameron, sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, sex offender duty to register.

• Christopher Lance Thomas, 35, Rockdale, sentenced to 12 months in the Milam County Jail after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, lesser included Burglary of Building.

• Kevin Bert Summerlin Jr., 27, Gause, placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a Class A misdemeanor, lesser included assault family violence.

• Justin Lee Dement, 28, Milano, placed on five years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation including the successful completion of outpatient substance abuse probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $4,000 restitution after pleading guilty to a first-degree felony, theft (more than $300).

• Michael Shane Benton, 46, Cameron, sentenced to thirty (30) months confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, injury to elderly.

• Allysa Denise Loaeza, 22, Pasadena, placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation including the successful completion of a drug education course and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a Class A misdemeanor, lesser included attempted possession of controlled substance less than one gram.

• Malik Deavion Rogers, 22, Killeen, placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a Class A misdemeanor, attempted possession of controlled substance less than one gram.

• Brandon Rene Colunga, 24, Port Arthur, placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, lesser included possession of controlled substance less than one gram.

• Mark Anthony Benford, 39, Rockdale, placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to State Jail Felony, lesser included possession of controlled substance less than one gram.

• Christian Alexander Prieto Jr., 18, Austin, placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a Class A misdemeanor, attempted possession of controlled substance less than one gram.
