Under the direction of Bill Torrey, the Milam County District Attorney, the following felony cases were resolved in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th Judicial District Court:

• Charlotte Michelle Tabor, 44, Cameron, was sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $504 restitution to the victims after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original third-degree felony, forgery - enhanced. She was additionally sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ and ordered to pay $250 to the victim after pleading guilty to a second-degree felony, burglary of habitation.

• Carlos Cadena, 33, Thorndale, was sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, assault family violence-impede breathing. He was additionally sentenced to three years TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, evading arrest with motor vehicle.

• Melissa Mae Miller, 39, Buckholts, was sentenced to four years TDCJ and ordered to pay $360 in restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram) in a drug-free zone.

• James Derrell Hopkins, 24, Rockdale, was placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to lesser included Class A misdemeanor, attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Johnny Morales, 30, Rockdale, was sentenced to one year in the Milam County Jail after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, reckless driving.

• Kenghana Parsons, 52, Rockdale, was placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $430 restitution for testing after pleading guilty to a 3rd degree felony, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram) in a drug-free zone.

• Michael Donaldson Jr., 23, Milano, was placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and $180 restitution to DPS after pleading guilty to a lesser included, state jail felony, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Scott Ray Lewis, 44, Rockdale, was placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1, 500 fine and $1,200 restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, debit card abuse-elderly.

• Suleiman Imodible, 34, Rockdale, was placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

• Carlos Dwayne Rubin, 45, Rockdale, was placed on four years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $2,035.79 in restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, credit/debit card abuse.

• Martha Ann Cazarez, 47, Cameron, was placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab for testing after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• James Herbert Stevens, 43, Rockdale, was sentenced to 472 days in the state jail division of TDCJ after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, endangering a child.

• Debra Cooley-Zinn, 65, Rockdale, was sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ, probated for five years with standard conditions of felony DWI probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $60 restitution to DPS after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, DWI third or more.

• Eddie Fillmore, 40, Cameron, was sentenced to 24 months confinement in the state jail division of TDCJ after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
