CAMERON—A 25-year-old man from a San Antonio suburb received a 25-year prison sentence last week after he was accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl he met online.
James Dion Furlow, 27, of Selma pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey.
The case was investigated by the Milam County Sheriff’s Department. An affidavit connected with the investigation alleged in 2016 the defendant met a then 12-year-old girl on a social media application.
It states the defendant met the girl twice and in both instances had sex with her.
