Officer Christian Fain arrested a 32-year-old Rockdale woman at 2:42 p.m. Thursday on two active warrants—one a local warrant for failing to ID fugitive from justice giving false information and one Milam County warrant for unauthorized absence from a correctional facility.
A 28-year-old Rockdale man was arrested Sunday at 1:35 a.m. by officer Jeremiah Harden for a Milam County warrant for bond forfeiture/forgery of government instrument and also for another Milam County warrant for failure to appear.
Officer Zachary Krejci arrested a 31-year-old Waco man Sunday at 1:21 p.m. for an assault on a peace officer and possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and prohibited substance in correctional facility and resisting arrest and assault causing bodily injury charges.
Police worked an accident Tuesday at 10:40 p.m. Sgt Michael Hubnik responded to a convenience store on east US 79. He found that a white box truck hit an unoccupied pickup.
Officers responded to 256 calls for service with 97 being 911 calls.
