The Holiday Gift Idea Exchange was Nov. 15-20 on Facebook. Each 4-H member recorded a video on how to do their craft and they are available for viewing.

Here are a couple of the items that were demonstrated and booklets with instructions for all the items are free at the Extension Office.

Snow Globe Ornament (Bohn Towery)

Clear plastic DIY ornament with screw on lid

Mini Christmas tree

1 bag of fake snow

3/8” Christmas ribbon

Hot glue gun

Scissors

Remove the lid from the bottom of ornament. Glue the bottom of the Christmas tree to the inside of the lid. Once the glue is dry, fill the ornament with 2-3 tablespoons of faux snow. Screw the lid back onto the ornament. Cut a piece of ribbon to your desired length and tie a bow on the top.

3 different sizes of mini terracotta pots Green paint

Green paint

Decorations for your tree, like pom poms, ribbon, buttons, sequins, beaded garland

Star for the top

Make sure the posts stack nicely before purchasing. Paint the pots green. Once the pots are dry, you’ll need to hot glue them on top of each other. Decorate the tree. Put star on the top
