MILAM 4-H NEWS
The District 4-H Horse Judging Contest took place on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6.
Milam youth had great success.
Thanks, to Cassie Callahan, for coaching the horse judging teams and to Cindy Widner and Jocelyn Ramthun for judging the Ag Product ID teams.
Results of the District Ag Product ID Contest:
Marisol Hill was 5th High individual in the intermediate division. Gabriel Ramthun was 4th in the senior division.
The senior team of Ramthun, Abbigail Miller, Scott Widner and Grant Widner was second.
Participants included: Gabriel Ramthun, Jessica Yount, Evie Hill, Harleigh Barrett, Marisol Hill, Wylie Barrett, Abbigail Miller, Kaleb Yount, Colton Barbo, Joseph Barbo, Scott Widner, Robert Miller, and Grant Widner.
Horse judging placings were as follows:
Bailey Webb-First junior individual.
Lyndon Stifflemire-Second intermediate individual.
Ann Warrick-Third intermediate individual.
Mackenzie Mahan-Fourth intermediate individual.
Emily Minatrea—Fifth intermediate individual.
Corley Callahan—Sixth intermediate individual.
Our Intermediates won the overall team championship.
