There are many activities still to come this summer through the Milam County AgriLife Extension Service for 4-H'ers:
T-Shirt Design Contest
Design a T-shirt to promote the FCH 4-H Projects:
• Food and Nutrition.
• Healthy Lifestyles.
• Fashion Design.
• Consumer Education.
Deadline to enter is Friday (July 24).

Bell-Milam Youth Agribusiness Tour
Date is set for Thursday, July 30.
Each stop will outline a facet of agricultural production in Central Texas and feature interactive learning experiences for the youth.
Transportation and meals will be provided for all participants at no cost.
Participants must be a Bell or Milam County 4-H member in sixth through 12th grades.
Ten applicants will be accepted from each county. Youth must have an interest in production agriculture.

COVID compliance — COVID-19 Preparedness Plan for the requires me to notify all participants and their families of the precautions and guidelines set for the Bell-Youth Milam AgTour.
Face masks are recommended by the Centers For Disease Control. DC. We have face masks available if needed.
However if you are attending, bring your own face mask.
Social distancing will be followed. Cameron ISD has provided a school bus.
Youth will be assigned seats on the bus and seated in every other row.
The CDC recommends you wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds with soap.
All participants must complete a registration form for traceability.
Should your child or anyone in the household not feel well, we ask that you stay home.
Please notify Whitney Grantham or Floyd Ingram to let them know if your child is registered, but unable to attend tour.
STEM Invention Showcase
Deadline for submission is Aug. 1.
Prizes will be awarded for those participating.
Videos will be posted on the Milam County 4-H Face-book page.
Submission requirements:

• Must include video of invention and indicate how it operates.
• Invention needs to be made by yourself (with adult supervision if needed) and created this summer (2020).
• Ages 5 and up are welcome.
• No 4-H membership is required.
