Milam County 4-H will start enrollment on Sept. 1. You can enroll online by going to www.join4h.com and select the Join 4-H link on the front page. Enrollment for 4-H members is $25 per member and $10 per volunteer.
We have a variety of 4-H projects and opportunities for you to do in 4-H. 4-H is for kids of almost any age, grades K-2 can be in Clover Kids if offered in your area. From 3rd-12th grades, you can be a regular 4-H member.
Find A 4-H Club: Your local County Extension Office can help you find a club that is right for you. We have six 4-H Clubs in Milam County. Most 4-H members attend a 4-H club in their community and some attend where it is more convenient or which club best fits you. Here is a list of our 4-H clubs and their meeting times for this year: Cameron 4-H Club First meeting: Sept. 6. Every first Tuesday of the month, 6 p.m., BME Cafeteria.
Davilla 4-H Club Every second Tuesday of the month, 7 p.m., Arnold Home, 205 CR 422a- 76577 Gause 4-H Club First meeting: Sept. 5. Every first Monday of the month, 6 p.m., Gause school library.
Thorndale 4-H Club First meeting: Sept. 26. Every fourth Monday of the month, 6 p.m., Thorndale Chamber of Commerce.
Rockdale 4-H Club First meeting: Sept. 12. Every second Monday of the month, 6:30 p.m., Rockdale Fair Park- New Salem Bldg.
Shooting Sports 4-H Club Every third Monday of the month, 6:30 p.m., TBA. Text 254-482-1143 for more information.
