Milam County 4-H Plant Identification teams competed at the State Fair of Texas and placed very high as follows:
First-place senior team, Mason Lindig, Heath Hollas, Kaylee Jackson, Rebecca Kostroun.
Senior individuals: 1st, Mason Lindig; 2nd, Heath Hollas; 3rd, Kaylee Jackson; 4th, Rebecca Kostroun; 6th, Kassidy Hundle
First-place junior team, J. W. Hollas, Jenna Lindig, Jacob Jackson, Ryan Luckey.
Junior individuals: 1st, J. W. Hollas; 2nd, Jenna Lin-dig; 3rd, Jacob Jackson; 4th, Ryan Luckey; 7th Jack Luckey.
The Milam County 4-H Consumer team competed at the Heart of Texas Consumer and Ag Product ID The senior team consisted of Gabriel Ramthun, Scott Widner, and Grant Widner. In the Consumer Contest the team placed 3th.
Individually, Gabriel Ramthun was 3rd and Scott Widner 4th high. In Ag Product ID at HOT, the same senior team was fifth.
