On Saturday the Milam County 4-H Plant ID team competed at the Fort Worth Stock Show. Milam’s 4-H’ers won top honors at the contest. Here are the placings for the Plant ID contest: The second-place junior team was composed of Jenna Lindig, Jacob Jackson, Ryan Luckey and Jack Luckey. Individual placings:
• Second, Jenna Lindig.
• Third, Jacob Jackson.
• Fourth, Ryan Luckey.
• Seventh, Jack Luckey.
The Milam 4-H senior team won first. Members were Kaylee Jackson, Rebecca Kostroun, Mason Lindig and Heath Hollas. Individual placings:
• First, Kaylee Jackson (winner of $4,000 scholarship).
• Second, Rebecca Kostroun.
• Third, Mason Lindig.
• Fourth, Heath Hollas.
• Sixth, Kassidy Hundle Plant ID coach was Irby McWilliams.
