You’ve heard about lines that literally go out the door? This was one Sunday in a giant benefit at the KC Hall for cancer patient Roxli Doss. The event raised $40,114.50 for 11-year-old Roxli who was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. This line was for the barbecue sale but there were plenty of other activities on tap Sunday including live and silent auctions. It was a big weekend for Roxli in more ways than one. Saturday and Sunday were special youth whitetail deer hunting days in Texas and she got her first-ever deer. See photo, page 5A.
