That’s the preliminary count on the 13th Annual Buddy Oney Toy Run, sponsored by Bad to the Bone Riders, which departed from The Ranch Saturday morning to benefit Milam County Child Protective Services, Christmas Roundup, Thorndale Cares and the Milam County Sheriff’s Department’s Brown Santa. Ride organizer Charles Starr said not all money has been collected and about 30 shirts remain to be sold so the total is expected to grow. He said 25 bikes-trikes and four cages (cars/trucks) participated. Donations may still be made by contacting Starr at 512-540-2561. Also see page 3A.
