CAMERON—Eight cases were disposed of in 20th District Court last week, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey, who listed case dispositions as follows:
• Rodney Joe Bunton, 57, Dallas, three year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation on an assault causes bodily injury family violence, with previous convictions.
• Timber Ryan Carrizales, 19, Rockdale, six-month state jail term after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram). Also sentenced to a 60-day jail term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Amanda Denise Dycus, 37, Killeen, five years deferred adjudication, fined $2,500 after pleading guilty to bail jumping–fail to appear.
• Eve Birdine-Epps, 40, Cameron, five (5) years deferred adjudication, fined $2,500 fine, $700 restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to burglary of habitation–intend other felony.
• Larry Nelson, 56, Lincoln, one day in the county jail, $750 fine after pleading guilty to DWI-second offense.
• Veronica Guerra, 45, San Antonio, 10-month state jail term after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Joe Alvarez, 61, Seguin, was placed on one-year deferred adjudication, 180-day county jail term, protective order was issued for the victim after pleading guilty to attempted retaliation.
• Seth Patrick Leland, 27, Taylor, sentenced by Judge John Youngblood to a five-year probated term after pleading guilty to a aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
