The Rockdale Fair Association bestowed $9,500 in scholarships this spring to graduating Milam County seniors.
Scholarships were listed as follows by Sheree Smith of the RFA:
• Gracen Dach, $2,000, Cameron Yoe High School, daughter of Micheal and Kimberly Dach. She plans to attend Texas A&M and major in poultry science.
• Darci Denio, $1,500 Cameron Yoe High School, daughter of Randy and Franci Denio. She plans to attend Blinn College then Texas A&M and major in dental hygiene.
• Emily Graham, $1,500, Cameron Yoe High School , daughter of Joni and John Graham. She plans to attend Blinn College, then Texas A&M and major in animal science.
• Jazmin Vaculin, $1,250, Cameron Yoe High School, daughter of Jeremy and Melissa Vaculin. She plans to attend Temple College then the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and major in nursing.
• Courtney Eoff, $1,000, Rockdale High School, daughter of Brooks and Alesha Eoff. She plans to attend Texas A&M and major in business management.
• Carson Offield, $1,000, Rockdale High School, son of Mike and Wendi Offield, plans to attend Tarleton State University and major in animal science.
• Caleb Hubnik, $750, Cameron Yoe High School, and the son of Johnny and Kristi Hubnik. He plans to attend Texas State Technical College and major in welding.
• Claire Jenkins, Rockdale High School received the $750 Bill Vogelpohl Memorial Scholarship, given by Janell Vogelpohl, Sandy Neuendorff and Cindy Vogelpohl in Memory of Bill Vogelpohl, the Rockdale Fair Association’s first president. It was awarded to Claire Jenkins, Rockdale High School, daughter of Bobby and Mandy Jenkins. She plans to attend Tarleton State University and major in agriculture services and development.
