The Milam County 4-H Ag Product ID Teams competed on Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Heart of Texas Fair & Rodeo in Waco and on Monday, Oct. 11, at the State Fair of Texas.
They walked away with many honors and awards for their hard work and studying.
Milam County 4-H is super proud Klay Eschberger for his two-time win as first-place overall individual in the senior category. He also trains and coaches the teams.
Here are the amazing results of these two contests:
State Fair of Texas
Third-place senior team: Klay Eschberger, Kaylor Eschberger, Robert Miller and Trenton Strmiska (out of 24 teams); Klay Eschberger, first-place overall (out of 92 participants). Ninthplace junior team: Luke Holcombe, Adyson Parker, Jadyn Parker and Mason Strmiska (out of 23 teams); Luke Holcombe, 11th-place over all (out of 86 participants).
Heart of Texas
First-place senior team: Klay Eschberger, Kaylor Eschberger, Marisol Hill and Robert Miller (out of 17 teams); Klay Eschberger, first-place overall, Marisol Hill, sixth-place over all. Eleventh-place junior team: Adyson Parker, Jadyn Parker and Luke Holcombe (out of 13 teams).
