Early voting for the N ov. 5 Texas Constitutional Amendment election begins Monday at four locations throughout Milam County.
Hours and locations are as follows:
Rockdale Center for Success and Independence (former Juvenile Justice Center)— Oct 21-25, Oct. 28- ov. 1, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Founty FoernÎs Rffife/ Cameron— Oct. 21-25, Oct 28- ov 1, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 26, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thorndale VFW Oct. 21-25, Oct. 28-N ov. 1, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Buckholts Community Center Oct. 21-25, Oct. 28- ov. 1, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The 10 proposed amendments are:
N o. 1 Municipal j udge elected in more than one j urisdiction.
N o. 2— Develop water supply & sewer proj ects in economically depressed areas of the state.
o 4 Prohibit the Texas Legislature from establishing a personal state income tax.
N o. 5— Allocate sales tax revenue from sporting goods sales to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Historical Commission.
N o. 6— Double the maximum bond amount for Cancer Prevention and Research Institute to $6 billion.
N o. 7 Double amount the General Land Office could distribute to the Available School Fund to $600 million.
o. 8 — Create a Flood Infrastructure Fund.
N o. 9— Exempt items in a Texan precious metal depository from property taxes.
N o. 10— Transfer law enforcement animal to tuaolfied faretaner n fertain circumstances.
