It’s a new year and the initial First Friday Get-together in the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library was held just three days into 2020. The monthly meet-and-greets are sponsored by different organizations and this one was hosted by the Rockdale Earth Day Committee. Organizer Dave Melton discussed developments for Earth Day 2020. First Fridays are free and feature finger foods, coffee and tea and open to all. Also see page 5A
