The annual Liberty Homecoming and Cemetery Association meeting will be held Sunday. Bring your favorite picnic lunch and enjoy visiting with friends and family.
The cemetery meeting will be held at 11 a.m. with lunch shortly after.

Salazar benefit to be held July 8 at The Ranch
A benefit for Andrea Salazar will be held on Saturday, July 8 at The Ranch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. which will include $15 barbecue plates, a bake sale and a silent auction.
Salazar was returning to her home from Schreiner University in Kerrville where she represents Rockdale playing basketball for the women’s basketball team. She wasn’t feeling well and stopped at an emergency room.
The following morning, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and has received multiple blood and plasma transfusions and is going through chemotherapy. She will also need to undergo a stem cell or bone marrow transplant.
