Rockdale police have made a second arrest in connection with a recent series of crimes.
Police said the 15-yearold juvenile was arrested Monday evening and was charged with burglary of a building.
Last week another 15-yearold male was arrested and charged with two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and one of burglary of a vehicle.
“We believe there are several people involved and we think there will be a number of arrests.”
“This is also in connection with a break-in at the Rockdale Youth Baseball Association several weeks ago in which a building was vandalized,” he said.
Goodrich said a number of warrants have been issued in connection with the incidents.
“We believe there are more juveniles involved and also some young adults, 17 and 18-year-olds,” he said.
ARRESTS—A 49-yearold Rockdale man was arrested last Wednesday and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Anthony Scott Azzarello was booked on possession of controlled substance (less than one gram) in a drugfree zone. He was released on $7,000 bond.
Other felony arrests during the past week included:
• Derek Tremayne David, 26, Rockdale, motion to revoke-online solicitation of minor, in custody, no bond.
• Logan Taylor Dellerman, 31, Rockdale, parole violation, unlawful possession of firearm by felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He remains in custody on no bond.
OFFENSES—Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault of a young female.
Other offense investigations begun during the past week included possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, assault causes bodily injury and theft.
CITATIONS—Pol ic e issued 23 citations during the past week included 14 for speeding, two for no driver’s license and one each for expired driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license invalid, no liability insurance, running a stop sign, violation of driver’s license restriction code and failure to report change of name/ address.
ACCIDENTS—No accidents within the Rockdale city limits were reported to police during the period covering June 30-July 6.
SERVICE CALLS—Officers responded to 220 calls for service during the past seven days and there were 117 calls received through the 911 system in the Rockdale Police Department.
