—Construction Superintendent Gary Lake (L) gave Rockdale City Manager Chris Whittaker a tour of the new police station last week. Whittaker said the facility’s opening will be delayed until April as the contractor awaits phone and Internet installation by AT&T and the 911 system linkup by Verizon. Target date for transition is now April 4, Whittaker said.
