The Rockdale High School Big Blue Band competed in the UIL Area D marching contest at Belton High School on Saturday. “We had a great performance and missed advancing to the area finals by two places, separated by one point, Director Adrian Acevedo said. RHS placed 12 out of the 24 bands and also ranked higher than all bands representing five of the seven regions in Area D, according to Acevedo. “We are all very proud of our band’s accomplishments this contest season and are excited about the future for our students.,” he said,
