POLICE REPORT

A report that a firearm was pointed at a convenience store clerk overnight Monday led to the arrest of a Rock-dale man.

Lt. Stephen Goodrich of the Rockdale Police Department said police received a report of a man point a firearm at a Rockdale CEFCO clerk “following a disagreement.”

Goodrich said while police were investigating the suspect returned and was arrested.

Jeremy Chad Vann, 42, was charged with aggravated assault with deadly weapon. He remained in the county jail at presstime in lieu of $30,000 bond.

Police said a brief chase Saturday afternoon led to the arrest of 33-year-old Chrissy Lynn Davis of Rockdale on a charge of evading arrest/ detention with vehicle. She was also charged with driving without a license.

Bond was set at $10,000.

ARRESTS—Other felony arrests during the past week were listed as follows:

• Javonte Marquice Crawford, 20, Rockdale, burglary of habitation, burglary of building, motion to proceed-probation violation credit card or debit card abuse, in custody on $30,000 bond.

• Petrocelli Avery Russell, 43, Rockdale, parole violation, in custody, no bond.

ACCIDENT—Police investigated one traffic accident within the Rockdale city limits during the past seven days.

Police said at 5:04 p.m. Sunday a car owned by Tonya Foster was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked at the intersection of Vogel and Alamo.

Damage was termed minor by police.

OFFENSES—Offense investigations begun by police during the past week included vehicle burglary, violation of city ordinance, credit/debit card abuse, possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana and tampering/ fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair.

CITATIONS—Police issued 49 citations during the week including 38 for speeding, four each for expired registration and driving while license invalid, three for animal at large, two each for failure to maintain financial responsibility and no proof of rabies vaccination.

SERVICE CALLS—Officers responded to 141 calls for service and there were 75 calls received through the 911 emergency services during the period.
