An 18-year-old Salado man was arrested Monday afternoon following a brief chase in Rockdale.
Jacob Adam Luckey was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading arrest-detention with vehicle, possession of marijuana (less than two ounces) in a drug-free zone, along with local warrants for burglary of a building and burglary of a vehicle.
Police said an additional charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on an other case is pending.
Other felony arrests during the week:
• Aaron Wayne Norman, 30, Rockdale, assault family/household member-previous conviction, released on $10,000 bond.
• Jacob Chapa Medrano, 19, Temple, possession of marijuana (less than two ounces) in a drug-free zone, tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram), released.
• Triston Garrett Ramos, 21, Rockdale, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, possession of marijuana (less than two ounces) in a drug-free zone, released on $7,000 bond.
• Judith Ashley Serna, 27, Rockdale, possession of controlled substance (1 to 4 grams); resist arrest search or transport; escape from custody; failure to ID fugitive from justice/refuse to give; evading arrest/detention, in custody on $14,000 bond.
• Clifford Ray Walker, 39, Jewett, unlawful possession of firearm by felon, possession of dangerous drug, possession of controlled substance (3 to 28 grams), released on $9,000 bond.
OFFENSES—Offense investigations begun by police during the week included threatening a person in public, discharging/displaying a firearm, burglary of a building, juveniles burglary of a building, juveniles unauthorized use of vehicle, ID theft, criminal trespass, and unlawfully carrying weapon.
SERVICE CALLS—Officers responded to 173 calls for service during the past week and there were 109 calls received through the 911 emergency system at the Rockdale Police Department.
