It was a different kind of family photo recently at the South Texas Longhorn Association show in Rockdale. From right, Connie Roberson Smith, granddaughter Hannah Smith and son Justin Smith. Mrs. Smith is a Rockdale native, daughter of the late Earl and Dormilee Roberson. Relatives Mardell Cates, Ernie Cates Jr. and Fred Cates still reside here. Hannah Smith, a resident of Liberty Hill, won an STLA scholarship. She shows longhorns for the Rocking B Ranch of Lago Vista.
