The Rockdale Senior Center had a fun Friday with a ‘Remembering
the 50s’ party with 50s trivia and music and even a hula hoop contest. Treats
included root beer floats at Carolyn’s Ice Cream Parlor and Ima Jean Weise’s Coca
Cola Cupcakes which were popular in the 1950s. Shown are a few party participants
including (L-R) Barbara Starr, Dolores Barber, John Magee, Mrs. Weise, Joy Summers
and Senior Center Director Carolyn Cooper.
