Rockdale Backyard Farmers Market will hold a pet adoption day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, featuring animals from Rockdale Animal Shelter, Charlyne’s Pound Puppies and Milam Touch of Love.
There will also be a Pet Show from 1 to 2 p.m. Bring your pet and enter the contest. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed, Best Hair- Do and Best Tricks. Entry fee is $5.
Saturday’s event will also feature face painting, spay and neuter registration, games, prizes and, of course, lots of vendors.
