A bake sale to benefit the upkeep of St. Joseph’s cemetery will be held at the East Bell Tap House from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 29. According to organizer, Rey Mata, they will have cakes, pies, cookies and other sweet treats.
The monies raised will be used to maintain the cemetery. There is a need for gravel for the road that leads up to the cemetery, and more cutting and tree trimming work is needed.
There will also be a drawing for a planter made by Charles Starr.
If you would like to donate a baked good to the fundraiser please deliver them to the Tap House at noon Saturday. For other questions please contact Mata at 832-865-4950.
