Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke will make a campaign stop in Rockdale on Friday, Aug. 5, at The Kay Theater at 6:30 p.m., according to Kay Board Chairman Brian Beard.
O’Rourke and incumbent governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, will face off in the general election on Nov. 8.
Abbott currently holds a 6-point lead over O’Rourke in current polling.
