Baylor Scott & White Blood Center will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church & School in Thorndale on Sunday for a blood drawing.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 12-noon.
Donors will receive a free, limited edition T-shirt and a blood donor lapel pin.
A photo ID is required to donate. Donors 18 and younger are required to provide proof of age to register for donation.
Register in the school gym.
Closings scheduled for Presidents’ Day
Monday is Presidents’ Day and it will be a holiday for many, but not all, in the Rockdale area.
No classes in the Rockdale ISD Monday or Tuesday.
Thorndale ISD has no classes Monday, but Friday, which was to he a holiday, is now a class day due to school days missed earlier this month due to flu.
No classes Monday at Thorndale St. Paul’s, Milano or Gause.
Financial institutions will be closed as well as the post office.
City Hall and the city library will be closed.
There’s no change in garbage pickup schedules.
