Rockdale’s Jody Morris took home first prize at the Austin Area Quilt
Guild’s 2022 Quiltfest held recently. “The idea for this quilt began in 2020 during COVID
lockdown. I love feathers and pebbles, so I combined the two to create as much texture
as possible. I was very pleased at how it turned out, and I am humbled and honored
to receive this recognition,” Morris said.
