A bluegrass music performance by Karl Shiflett & Friends was held Saturday night at the historic Kay Theater benefiting the Milano Volunteer Fire Department.
A packed house enjoyed the music of Karl Shiflett and Macy Graham on guitar, Randy Lindley on mandolin, Bryan Hollifield on banjo, Kris Shiflett on bass, Ramey Moore on fiddle and Caleb Lindley on guitar and banjo.
Karl Shif lett used to have a band called The Karl Shif lett and Big County Show that traveled around the country from 1993 to 2018.
The event raised $1,000 for the Minerva VFD and was sponsored by Rockdale’s Edward Jones offices.
