Body
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
2-3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Kosher salt to taste
Fresh cracked black pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes or more
2-3 tbsp jarred pesto 2 chopped garlic cloves
2 chopped garlic cloves
Mix all ingredients and let sit for a bit for flavors to combine. Dip bread in it. Taste and say, “mmmmmm.”
Here’s one for homemade pesto. It’s easy too. I got it from my friend Mary Henkel Judson who is the editor of the Port Aransas South Jetty newspaper.
