An 18-year-old Buckholts resident was arrest Friday in connection with what investigator said was a threat against Buckholts schools.
Christopher Keith Walker, was also charged with sexual assault of a child.
The investigation resulted from social media exchanges, according to police.
Buckholts schools were placed on a “soft lockdown.”
Walker remains in the Milam County Jail in lieu of $42,000 bond.
There have been a number of threats directed at schools in the wake of the recent school shootings in Parkland, Florida.
