RUSH HOUR—About 12 planes flew into the H.H. Coffield Municipal Airport last Thursday, and that’s probably the busiest it’s been in a long time. The pilots are a group of airplane enthusiasts from all over Texas who fly to a different location once or twice a week. They like to fly into Rockdale because Becky’s Sandwiches & More is so close to the airport. They refer to Becky’s burgers as “$100 burgers” because of the fuel they use and other expenses, but the burgers don’t really cost $100. One of the pilots said that all of their wives refer to the airport as “Daycare for Seniors.” Reporter/Kyle Cooke
