BUSY VETERANS—It’s been a busy month for Rockdale Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6525 and its Auxiliary. The post began the big November with a big award. Top photo, Commander Larry Rubino (left with Post 6525 official Rod Roderick) was named VFD District 28 Post Commander of the Year, the first time for Rockdale to win the award. It was presented at the district meeting in Georgetown. Below, veterans gathered at Post 6525 as it hosted a breakfast for veterans and the community.
