CAMERON—The Cameron 4-H Club is now collecting school supplies.
The drive began on Monday and will end Sept. 5, according to County Agent Micah Holcombe.
“These school supplies collected will be then distributed to the schools for the teachers to fulfill their lists of needs from students who did not bring items or could not afford them,” she said.
Drop off locations include:
• First United Methodist Church of Cameron.
• Milam County Extension Office.
• Cameron Farm and Ranch.
• The September Cameron 4-H Club Meeting (Sept. 3 at Yoe High School.
• Ben Milam Elementary School.
• Cameron Elementary School.
• The Cameron Police Department.
Items needed are:
• Crayons (24 count).
• Large size crayons.
• Markers.
• Colored pencils.
• Expo dry erase markers.
• Composition notebooks.
• Kleenex boxes.
• Fiskar scissors.
• Pink erasers.
• Pencils.
• Wide-ruled paper.
• Plastic blue, red, green, yellow folders (with brads and pockets).
• Glue sticks.
• Ziploc bags (quart and gallon).
• Elmer’s glue bottles.
• Sanitizing wipes (Lysol or Clorox).
• Index cards (3x5, 4x6).
• Sheet protectors.
