CAMERON—It’s a huge weekend May 4 and 5 in Cameron’s Ledbetter Park surrounding the 2018 Cameron Fun Fest and Barbecue Shootout.
This year, the event will include the barbecue competition, kids fun zone, the Beer & Brat Trot 5K, Kid Fish, arts & crafts, horseshoe and washer tournaments, and live music.
BBQ—There’s cooking both days in the CTBA-sanctioned barbecue cookoff.

RUN/WALK—May 5 includes the 5K Beer and Brat Trot.
Check-in for both the 5K and kids Root Beer and Hot Dog 1K is from 7 to 8 a.m. in the Girl Scout Hut.
There’s free music May 4 and then it all wraps up Saturday night, May 5, with two bands. At 9 p.m. Hip Hop Hooray opens for Vegas Stars.
