Rockdale police made two arrests early Saturday morning after a local woman said her camper was being towed away.
Gilbert Ray Lerma, 49, and Garrett Ethan Blake Bayne, both of Thrall, were charged with theft ($2,500 to $30,000).
Bayne was released on $4,000 bond while, as of Tuesday morning, Lerma remained in custody on the same amount of bond.
ACCIDENTS—Police investigated an accident of Wilcox Street near the youth baseball fields at 8:11 a.m. Thursday.
Drivers were listed as Juana Hernandez and Maria Robertson, both of Rockdale.
Minor damages were reported.
Minor damages were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 1:19 p.m. Friday in the Tractor Supply parking lot.
Drivers were listed as Hubert Penny of Milano and Latoya Mitchell of Rockdale.
CITATIONS—Police issued 56 citations during the past week including 46 for speeding.
Others included two each for expired registration and failure to maintain financial responsibility and one each for animal at large, expired driver’s license, failure to yield right-of-way and failure to change address or name on driver’s license.
SERVICE CALLS—Officer s responded to 153 calls for service during the week and there were 90 calls received through the 911 emergency system.
