MINERVA—A hu ge benefit day for 16-year-old cancer patient Caitlyn Glenn, is set for Saturday at the Minerva Community Center and VFD, CR 232 Loop.
Glenn is an osteosarcoma patient. Her grandfather, Ernie, has been Minerva VFD chief since 1992, grandmother Karen is also a 28-year member, father Josh and brother Alex are also MVFD firefighters.
The day includes a bike ride, barbecue sale ($12 per plate), auction, fund raisers, live music and more. Registration starts at 9 a.m.
