On Wednesday, police got a call from a woman saying her car was missing.

The car was later located on north Wilcox near the baseball field.

The car had damage on the right side from hitting a steel cable, which the woman who reported the car missing later admitted to hitting while earlier driving the car.

A burglary was reported at a Cameron Avenue apartment complex.

The property manager told the officer that someone broke in through a window and a computer, drill, toolbox, foggers, old debit cards and rent checks were missing.

Another burglary report sent an officer to the 600 block of Ackerman on Friday. The property owner said tools, a wedding ring and other valuables were missing. The officer saw signs that looked like forced entry into the home.

A vehicle was reported stolen from a business parking lot Saturday. It is a black Suburban with Texas plates NLJ 8616.

An officer was dispatched to an RV park in town after a call Sunday about a burglary.

The owner said that someone broke into a building on the property and stole a coin-operated machine.

An officer went to the 700 block of Dyer Street on Saturday to check a report saying that someone vandalized a shed by spraying blue paint all over it.

Police responded to a Monday call that reported someone had broken into a building in the 1300 block of west Cameron Avenue.

Nothing was reported missing, but the incident is under investigation.

Police detained a man in an emergency order of detention Monday after he was seen walking along US 79, then falling into the roadway near its intersection with Parkway in west Rockdale.

Police issued three citation over the past week with one for speeding, another for an animal at large and the third for criminal mischief.

In all officers responded to 156 calls for service with 80 of those calls being 911 calls.
